The Future Is Sooner Than You Think
Our Estate Planning Lawyers Will Help You Prepare
Huffman Law Offices, P.C., opened its first office in 1998 in Maryville, Illinois. Since then we have practiced predominantly in the areas of estate planning and the evolving field of elder law. We have worked with hundreds of clients to develop and implement comprehensive and legally sound estate plans.
We assist baby boomers and other seniors in establishing wills, trusts and powers of attorney to guide family members in the event of incapacity or death. We also help clients or children of elderly parents with long-term care planning, guardianship and probate administration. In recent years, the firm has expanded its elder law practice into life care planning and special needs planning for disabled beneficiaries.
A Team of Professionals
Our attorneys and staff are qualified to meet your needs:
Brian Huffman has practiced law since 1992 and has concentrated in wills, trusts and elder law since opening his own practice a decade ago. Attorney Michelle Weber also brings significant experience in estate planning to the firm. Curt Bailey has actively practiced in the areas of estate planning and business formation and representation throughout his career.
To better meet the unique needs of our elderly clientele, we brought on elder care consultant Margaret Huffman, a registered nurse with experience in geriatric rehabilitation and home care. She works with clients in Medicaid planning and life care planning — the transition from independent living to assisted living or nursing home care.
Our service area has expanded over the years as well. We meet clients in five convenient locations in Maryville (two offices), Swansea, East Alton and Springfield. We can arrange evening appointments and at-home consultations.
